🔥 Pressing Instructions for Transfers
Follow these steps for a perfect application and a long-lasting design!
1️⃣ 1st Press: The Warm-Up
-
Crank that heat press to a sizzling 300-315∘F.
-
Prepress your garment for 5–7 seconds to remove any moisture and wrinkles.
-
Place your transfer, then press firmly for 10–13 seconds. Think of it as giving your shirt a firm handshake—but hotter.
-
Play around with your settings to find the sweet spot. Every press is a unique snowflake (a very hot one).
-
Hot Peel: Rip off the film like you're unveiling the gift of perfectly transferred art. Be bold, but maybe not too bold until you're sure you've nailed it.
2️⃣ 2nd Press: The Finishing Touch
-
Apply firm pressure for 5–10 seconds. It's like a quick hug for your design—just enough to make it stick around.
-
Do not press over zippers, buttons, or seams unless you're going for "abstract art" (Pro tip: You're not.)
👕 Fabric-Specific Shenanigans
Adjust your temperature and time based on the fabric type of your garment:
-
Cotton and Cotton/Poly Blends: These love the classic treatment. Use the instructions above.
-
Polyester (The Diva): Lower the temperature to 250∘-275∘F and give it just 7–8 seconds to shine. Any longer, and it might throw a tantrum (melt).
💡 Final Words of Wisdom
